About us

Students by day. Builders by night.

No suits, no jargon, no inflated invoices. Just a crew of college students who got tired of watching great local businesses stay invisible online — and decided to fix it ourselves.

Spiderweb started in a lecture hall, the way a lot of good ideas do — half-drawn on the back of a notebook during a class that deserved more attention than it got. We were broke college students with a shared laptop, a stack of free design courses and an annoying habit of asking, "what if we built that better?" So we stopped asking and started building.

The name came from what we believe a website actually is: a web. Not a brochure, not a billboard — a living structure that connects a business to its people, catches opportunities as they fly past, and holds strong under pressure. And honestly? We just really liked spiders. They're patient, precise, and they build things far bigger than themselves. That felt like us.

Being students isn't a weakness we're apologizing for — it's the engine. We learn in public, we obsess over the details because our name is on every pixel, and we price our work like people who remember what it's like to count coins. Every project we take on funds the next semester, sharpens the craft, and proves that you don't need a fancy agency to look world-class online.

But this was never just about us. The businesses around our campus — the tailors, the food vendors, the tutors, the hustlers with real products and zero web presence — were being left behind by agencies that quote in thousands and deliver in months. We built Spiderweb to be the studio that shows up for them: honest prices, plain language, and websites that actually work on the phones their customers use. When our community grows, we grow with it. That's the whole plan.

Mission
Put our community online
01

Learn in public

Every project teaches us something new, and we share what we learn — with clients, with classmates, with anyone building alongside us.

02

Community over competition

We'd rather lift ten local businesses online than outshine one big client. Our success is measured in the growth of the people around us.

03

Honest pricing, serious quality

Student budgets taught us respect for money. You get a fixed quote, no hidden fees, and work we'd proudly put our own name on — because we do.

04

Ship, then sharpen

A good site live today beats a perfect site never. We launch fast, measure what's working, and keep improving — the web never stands still, neither do we.
